Klausenpass | 1948 METER | Altdorf Glarus

The Klausen Pass (pass height 1948 metres) is a pass in Switzerland that connects the cantons of Uri and Glarus. It leads from Altdorf through the Schächen Valley over the pass and Urnerboden to Linthal. The border between the municipality of Unterschächen in Uri and Urnerboden, which belongs to Spiringen, runs along the pass. The road, which is paved throughout, is closed from November to May.
