Nufenenpass | 2478 METER | Ulrichen Airolo

The Nufenen Pass is an Alpine pass in the Swiss Alps and connects the canton of Valais with the canton of Ticino. The Ticino river rises to the east of the Nufenen Pass (2478 metres). From the top of the pass, there is a wide view to the north of the Bernese Alps with the Finsteraarhorn, and to the south of the Gries Glacier.
Both ramps are full of bends, with the north-west approach in particular featuring some beautiful combinations of bends. The high plateau with its lake and barren, bizarre but beautiful landscape is fantastic.
