Kühtaisattel | 2017 METER | Kematen Ötz

The Kühtaisattel is an Alpine pass that is almost exclusively known as a winter sports resort – there is not much going on here in summer. However, this is because the Alpine pass is rather unspectacular to drive on compared to its neighbouring Alpine passes Timmelsjoch, Jaufenpass and Penserjoch. It has few bends, and the pass summit, with its hotels, restaurants and ski lifts, is not particularly attractive.
Nevertheless, the Kühtaisattel can be wonderfully integrated into motorbike tours in the region. This allows you to take a breather after some strenuous cornering. The eastern ramp is particularly scenic.
