Col de la Boaria | 2102 METER | Col de la Perle Colle dei Signori

The Col de la Boaria Alpine pass is located on the ‘Ligurian border ridge’, the ‘High Salt Road’. The route runs along the Italian-French border. The Col de la Boaria, for example, marks a border crossing between the two countries. The north-western part of the Alpine pass is on the Italian side, while the south-eastern part is on French territory.

The route over the Col de la Boaria is completely gravel, as is the entire passage. A toll is payable for this section of the ‘Ligurian border ridge’. In addition, the passage is only open to motorised vehicles on certain days of the week.

Information on when you can drive, how much the toll costs and more can be found here ...

Tip: Just north of the Alpine pass is the famous and spectacular bend of the same name, ‘Tornante della Boaria’.
