Ammersattel | 1118 METER | Ettal Reutte

The Ammersattel is a mountain pass in the Ammergau Alps, connecting Ettal near Oberammergau with Reutte in Tyrol, at an altitude of about 1118 metres. The small pass road has gradients of up to 12%, covering a distance of around 35 km. From Germany, the pass can be reached from the B23 near Ettal and in Austria from the B179 Fernpass road near Reutte. The pass road leads from the northeast through the Graswang Valley along the Linder over Graswang, past Linderhof Palace up to the pass summit. On the Austrian side, it leads over Plansee and the Plansee Valley down to Reutte.
