Tende-Pass | 1870 METER | Tende Limone Piemonte

The last big Alpine pass before the Mediterranean! Despite its modest altitude, the Col de Tende has cult status. This is partly because the pass marks the entrance to the Ligurian Border Ridge Road and also provides access to the Baisse de Peyrefique. On the other hand, a monumental relic from a bygone era, the majestic Fort Central, contributes to this.
But it is mainly the breathtaking view from 48 hairpin bends, of which unfortunately only the upper third is gravelled. Over a distance of just under eight kilometres, you climb more than 600 metres in altitude.
