Col de la Lariée | 1956 METER | Realdo Passo Tanarello

The Col de la Lariée is part of the Ligurian border ridge road. It is located on the route from the village of Realdo towards Passo Tanarello, on the French side. The alpine pass is not recognisable as such, nor is it marked. The picture shows the alpine pass at the end of the hilltop. After that, the route makes a 90-degree turn. The route is gravelled throughout, and in some places even has coarse stones. On the eastern side of the alpine pass – the ascent to Passo Tanarello – the route even has some stair-like sections. These are the result of asphalted sections that have since broken up and sunk. The route is also extremely narrow in places. 
A beginner off-roader should avoid this route.
