Schwyzerhöhe | 750 METER | Ibach Morschach
The Schwyzerhöhe, a low Alpine pass, connects the two villages of Ibach and Morschach. The route runs roughly parallel to the motorway and main road from Schwyz (just before Ibach) towards Lake Lucerne at Morschach. It is therefore an absolute must if you have a few extra minutes to spare for the ascent and descent.
The northern ramp is fun. The road is narrow and winding. The southern ramp, on the other hand, is like a main road. The pass summit is also unspectacular, as if you are coming from Ibach you simply turn onto the main road. The turn-off is the summit.
