Passo Xomo | 1058 METER | Posina Valli del Pasubio

The narrow and very quiet road over the Passo di Xomo leads from Posina to the eastern ramp of the Passo Pian delle Fugazze and crosses the mountain range southeast of the Pasúbio massif. The route is completely paved, but due to its low importance it is slowly falling into disrepair and is in poor condition, especially on the north side. At the crest, the eastern Pasúbio road branches off to the west, leading over the Bocca del Xetele to the Porte del Pasúbio and from there over the famous Strada degli Eroi to the crest of the Passo Pian delle Fugazze. However, this interesting but difficult route is subject to a strict ban on driving from the Rifúgio Papa at the latest, which is secured by barriers that cannot be driven around. The entrance from the south is easy to miss. It lies in a 90° bend of the road between two groups of bends, about 2 kilometres northwest of Sant'Antonio.
