Passo Muazz | 1696 METER | Lago di Luzzone Lago di Luzzone

The Passo Muazz is a 1,696-metre-high Alpine pass in Ticino, Switzerland. It can be reached via Lago di Luzzano, which is also designated as an Alpine pass or cul-de-sac. Lago di Luzzano is about 3 kilometres away, situated 80 metres below. The road to Passo Muazz leads through a tunnel in the dam wall of Lago di Luzzano. After that, the route is roughly gravelled. Some enduro experience is therefore advisable.
The journey is well worth it, however, as shortly after the top of the pass you reach another reservoir, Lago di Carassina, named after the high valley of the same name. A stop here is absolutely lovely.
