Lukmanierpass | 1972 METER | Disentis Biasca
The Lukmanier Pass is a Swiss Alpine pass on the border between the cantons of Graubünden and Ticino, with a pass height of 1915 metres. The name is derived from the Latin lucus magnus, the ‘large forest’. The Lukmanier Pass separates the Gotthard Massif from the Adula Alps and offers the only way to cross the Swiss Alps by car without exceeding an altitude of 2000 metres above sea level. The pass road is open all year round.
