Gampenpass | 1518 METER | Lana Fondo

The Gampenpass, also known as the Gampenjoch, is a 1518-metre-high mountain pass in South Tyrol (Italy). It connects the Etschtal with the Nonstal. The pass road begins in Lana at 316 metres and climbs a total of 17.5 kilometres to the pass summit at 1202 metres. The maximum incline on the north ramp is 8.5 per cent. To the west of the pass stands the 2,434-metre-high Laugenspitze (Italian: Monte Luco), while to the east rises the 1,760-metre-high Wechsel (Italian: Monte dei Cambio). The Gampen Pass is not closed during the winter.
