Colle d'Oggia | 1157 METER | Montalto Ligure San Bartolomeo

This alpine pass in the foothills of the Ligurian Alps is located north of Imperia. The Colle d'Oggia is a little-used alpine pass that leads west from Montalto Ligure to Muzio in the east. It runs almost parallel to the Passo Teglia, which is about 200 metres higher and has a slightly better road.

The many olive trees lining this winding road are typical of the region. From Muzio, heading north, the route continues to Monesi di Triora, a starting point or entry point for the Ligurian border ridge road ‘Alta Via del Sale’.
