The road then leads to Muzio and northwards to Monesi di Triora, another starting point or entry point to the ‘High Salt Road or Via Alta del Sale’.

The eastern ramp of the alpine pass runs largely through a forest area. The region, which is mainly covered with beech trees, is called Bosco di Rezzo. Just below the summit, there is a nice car park with picnic facilities and information boards.

From the top of the pass, you can visit the Monte Fenaira viewpoint, which is only a few hundred metres away. The view is stunning.
