Col Linaire | METER | La Brigue Colla de Sanson

The alpine pass Col Linaire is located along the driveway from La Brigue to the LGKS (German: Ligurische Grenzkammstraße), a very famous military road in the Western Alps. This driveway meets the military road at the alpine pass Colla de Sanson. 
 

The driveway from La Brigue is gravel all the way and quite challenging to drive. The Col Linaire is reached after about 12 kilometres, the Colla de Sanson after a total of about 17 kilometres. The route from the Colla di Sanson or Baisse de Sanson then continues to the Passo Tanarello (eastwards), down towards Dolceaqua or Triora (southwards), or south-east via Realdo, and then on to Triora.

There are always magnificent views along the route.
