Col de Parquetout (Sommet) | 1441 METER | Corps Entraigues

The actual, classic pass sign for this Alpine pass (see description), in the Isère department, stands at an altitude of 1,382 metres. However, the road continues to climb further from the south, coming from Corps. We have therefore included a second location for the Col de Parquetout in this case. It is marked as the highest point (Sommet).

The road is paved, without kerbs, and wonderfully winding in places without becoming strenuous. The steepest passage is also rather moderate at 14 degrees. This Alpine pass is characterised by driving pleasure, hardly any traffic and beautiful views. A must for any motorbike tour leading north from Gap to the classic high Alpine passes, or vice versa to the south.
