The Vršič is a very scenic pass in the Karst Mountains of the Julian Alps. The highest and arguably most beautiful pass in Slovenia forms a watershed between the Adriatic and Black Sea. The two pass ramps between the base villages of Trenta (S) and Kranskja Gora (N) offer a total of 51 bends that are thoroughly enjoyable to drive, but also demand a fair amount of practice from the driver.
