Schönfeldsattel | 1740 METER | Innerkrems Bundschuh
The Schönfeldsattel is a saddle in the Nockberge Mountains between the Carinthian Krems and the Salzburg Bundschuh. The valley crossing at 1,740 metres is gentle, with the Schönfeld plain on the eastern side, which forms the end of the Bundschuh and on which the Dr. Josef-Mehrl-Hütte is located, a category II hut of the OeAV Vienna Section.
