Pretalsattel | 1068 METER | Veitsch Turnau
The Pretalsattel is a 1069-metre-high Alpine pass in Upper Styria, south of the Hohe Veitsch. The pass connects the municipalities of Veitsch and Turnau. The pass is also known as ‘Veitel’ in the vernacular, because there is a wayside shrine with St. Vitus ‘St. Vitus’ at the top of the pass.
