Planina Planinca | 1136 METER | Begunje Begunje

In the birthplace of the ‘original Oberkrainer’ Slavko Avsenik, in the small village of Begunje, there is a beautiful hotel (Chateau Lambergh), the ski manufacturer Elan, a ruined castle and behind it a beautiful gravel path into the mountains, which is a popular route to the Planina Planinca mountain hut at 1,136 metres. The route is easy to ride, but there are various deep gullies where the meltwater runs off. And there are bends where thick gravel has accumulated.
