Forcella Aurine | 1299 METER | Agordo Gosaldo

The Forcella Aurine is an alpine pass in the province of Belluno, near the picturesque village of Agordo, close to the border with Trentino. It connects the town of Gosaldo (Mühlental) with Voltago (Sarzana Valley), and further on with Agordo and the rest of the Agordino mountains.
The route is well developed and features some beautiful combinations of bends, especially on the north-eastern ramp. Further west, it joins the Passo Cereda and then the well-known Passo Rolle. The road runs north and almost parallel to the wider Strada Provinciale 3 from Agordo to Gosaldo. This is the better-known ascent/descent to or from the Passo Cereda and offers some beautiful, spectacular views of the southern Dolomites.
