Col du Sénin | 2252 METER | Sion Gsteig
An unfinished road that was originally supposed to continue into the Bernese Oberland and serve as an access road to a reservoir. But a virtue can be made out of necessity - cul-de-sacs like this are not particularly popular. As a motorcyclist, you can enjoy the peace and quiet, with no traffic. Only in summer can locals endanger the idyll. Over a distance of 42 kilometres, everything you need for an impressive Alpine road is provided. However, the pass summit means a cutback in infrastructure, which is, however, compensated for at the end of the route, at the Lac du Sénin dam, in the form of a restaurant.
