Col du Pillon | 1546 METER | Les Diablerets Gstaad

The Col du Pillon is an Alpine pass in the Swiss canton of Vaud. It is located in the extension of the Col de la Croix, which is towards the Rhône Valley.  The pass is 1,546 metres high and is very unspectacular, dominated by a large car park with a cable car station.
Since 1964, a cable car has run from the Col du Pillon in two sections to the summit of the Scex Rouge in the Glacier 3000 ski area of the Diablerets massif, enabling skiing on the Tsanfleuron glacier plateau from October to May.
The Alpine pass is more like a motorway and is ideal for cruising.
