Col du Marchairuz | 1449 METER | Le Brassus Bière

The highest Alpine pass in the Swiss Jura, near the French border, from the summit of which, in good weather, there is a view of the Savoy Alps as far as Mont Blanc.
The road is well paved and wide. There are hardly any difficult corners worth mentioning. On the northern ramp, you drive through an extensive high valley with the opportunity to stop for refreshments. There is a restaurant and even a hotel at the top of the pass.
If you are taking a trip to these foothills of the Alps, the Col du Marchairuz should be on your itinerary.
