Col de la Sinne | 1438 METER | Pierlas La Bolinette
The Col de la Sinne, not to be confused with the Col de la Sine (located southwest, also in the Alpes-Maritimes), is a little-travelled pass not far from the well-known and exceptionally picturesque village of Roubian.
In the north-south axis, this rather little-known Alpine pass runs parallel to the Col de la Couillole to the south. Coming from the north, over the Col d'Allos, Col des Champs and Col de Valberg, you could – instead of heading for the Col de la Couillole in the east – continue south through the Gorges de Cians and then take the route over the Col de la Sinne to get to the east. The eastern route is interesting because further along this route is the Col de Turini – a must in this region.
