Col de Clavel | 1063 METER | Comps-sur-Artuby Le Logis du Pin

The Col de Clavel is one of the Alpine passes along the legendary Route Napoléon. It lies about 3 kilometres west (D 21) of the actual route (D6085). It is an easy-to-drive Alpine pass on the border between the departments of Var and Alpes-Maritimes – set in beautiful Mediterranean countryside. It’s a marvellous place for a leisurely drive. If you follow the D21 westwards and then continue on the D71, you’ll reach the Verdon Gorge – on the south side.
