Tonalepass | 1884 METER | Ponte di Legno Male

The Tonale Pass is an 1884-metre-high Alpine pass in Italy, about halfway as the crow flies between Trento and the Bernina Range. The pass is part of a west-east connection. The pass separates the Lombard Valcamonica in the west from the Val di Sole, a side valley of the Val di Non, in the east in the Trentino region. These two valleys form the Tonale Line, the western part of the Periadriatic Seam, an active geological fault line that continues east to Friuli and Slovenia. On the pass is an Italian war memorial, a church and the Albergo della Vittoria.
