Passo della Foppa | 1852 METER | Grósio Monno

The Passo della Foppa is an Italian Alpine pass in Lombardy. It connects the villages of Monno in the south and Grosio in the north. The summit is 1852 metres above sea level. The pass road is paved throughout and in some places only has a single lane and the same width. There is a small gravelled car park at the top of the pass. The pass is better known today as Passo del Mortirolo, which is actually a secondary pass of Passo della Foppa. The signposting from Monno also follows this name along the route. Due to the heavy forestation at the top of the pass, there is only a view to the west.
