Passo del Sommo | 1343 METER | Carbonare Folgaria

The Passo del Sommo is a 1341-metre-high mountain pass in the Italian province of Trentino between Folgaria and Carbonare. At the pass summit, a road branches off to the south-east to Tonezza del Cimone. South of the pass there are two former Austrian fortifications from the time of the First World War: the Sebastiano fort about 2 km southeast and the intermediate Sommo fort about 4 km south. South of the Passo del Sommo is the Passo Coe, which also comes from Folgaria; both pass roads meet a few kilometres before Tonezza del Cimone.
