Givrine-Pass | 1228 METER | Les Rousses Nyon
This road has connected Eastern France with Lake Geneva since the Middle Ages. At the beginning of the 19th century, the Alpine pass lost its trans-regional significance due to the construction of the road over the Col de la Faucille.
The Alpine pass on the Swiss side has some interesting combinations of bends to offer. From Saint Cergue to just before Nyon, it is quite a descent, with a combination of eight very different bends. The French side, on the other hand, is unspectacular.
