The pass is part of the Way of St James to Santiago de Compostela and connects Pfäffikon with the place of pilgrimage of Einsiedeln. It's best to avoid the pass on weekends due to heavy traffic, but the beautiful views of Lake Zurich and Lake Sihl are always worth seeing.
