Colle di Scravaion | 814 METER | Erli Bardineto

Just south of the small village of Erli, on the SS582, the western ramp branches off to the Colle di Scravaion Alpine pass. The first few kilometres are spectacularly winding and lead through the very medieval-looking villages of Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena and Villaggio Rocca Barbena. After that, the road becomes more ‘boring’ for motorcyclists. The eastern ramp of the Alpine pass, on the other hand, is unspectacular throughout its entire, albeit relatively short, length. It leads through partly wooded areas along a gently sloping ridge to Bardineto. Bardineto lies on a wooded plateau at an altitude of around 710 metres. The eastern ramp therefore only has an elevation difference of about 100 metres. Nevertheless, the sparsely populated Ligurian hinterland has a special charm and is ideal for motorbike tours.

From Albenga, a small town on the Riviera, it is only 15 kilometres to the start of the western ramp.
