Colle di Cadibona | 459 METER | Altare Burré

The Colle di Cadibona, 459 metres high, is the easternmost pass in the southern foothills of the Ligurian Alps. It is also known as the ‘Boccetta di Altare’.
The Colle di Cadibona is located slightly north of Savona, just a few kilometres from the Mediterranean coast. It would hardly be worth mentioning as an Alpine pass were it not, as already mentioned, the easternmost Alpine pass in southern Liguria.

The Colle di Cadibona forms the border between the Alps and the Apennines.
