The alpine pass Colle della Bicocca is part of the Varaita-Maira-Kammstraße, and since the end point in the west. From then on, there are only footpaths. The entire route is gravelled. The ascent to Colle della Bicocca is via the alpine pass Colle di Sampeyre, which in turn can be reached via the village of Sampeyre in the north or the village of Marmora in the south.
