Colle Cologna is the fourth pass on the Meira-Stura border ridge road when approaching from the southeast. The route is gravelled throughout. While the mountain road is easy to drive at the beginning, for gravel roads, it becomes more and more difficult with increasing length. Scree, steps and inclines require knowledge. The Alpine passes before that are called Colle Margherina, Colle Bandia and Colle Valcavera.
