Colle Bourget | 2299 METER | Usseaux Sestriére

The alpine pass is located on the Assietta-Kammstraße (AKS). The route leads from Usseaux to Sestriére in an easterly to westerly direction. The Colle Bourget is one of six alpine passes that lie along the border ridge road. From the Colle dell'Assietta, the road is a relatively flat mountain road that has a few metres of altitude difference. Therefore, the alpine passes can sometimes only be recognised by the sign. 
The route is gravelled throughout, with a mixture of sand, and is great for off-road beginners.
