Col du Solude | 1680 METER | La Palud Le Bourg-d'Oisans

The road from La Palud is asphalted, but the ramp towards the east is partly gravelled and has stones and many longitudinal grooves in the upper part – only suitable for enduro riders.
From La Palud, a few narrow bends lead to the apex. The asphalt is passable, but the route has a few narrow sections. The official ascent actually ends in Villard-Reymond – a few hundred metres before the pass summit. A car park there requires you to stop, as the road ends in the village. In fact, from there, only a poor dirt road with large stones, partially overgrown, leads to the pass summit within the village. But: about a hundred metres below the car park, a narrow road branches off, leading around the village to the summit.
