Col du Glandon | 1924 METER | La Chambre Rochetaillée
The Col du Glandon is a French Alpine pass with a 1924-metre-high crossing. It is located in the Rhône-Alpes region and connects Rochetaillée near Le Bourg-d'Oisans in the Romanche Valley with La Chambre in the Maurienne Valley. Opened in 1898, it was connected to the slightly higher Col de la Croix de Fer, which leads to Saint-Jean de Maurienne, in 1912. The Col du Glandon is open to traffic between May and October.
