Col du Cucheron | 1140 METER | St-Pierre-d'Entremont Grenoble

The Col du Cucheron is located in the Chartreuse massif – the north-western foothills of the Alps – and is one of a series of Alpine passes that lead from Chambéry via St-Pierre-d'Entremont to Grenoble. The Chartreuse is a pre-Alpine mountain range that reaches an altitude of 2,082 metres at its highest point, Charmechaude. The landscape is sparsely populated, charming and always worth a detour.
