Rather a saddle-like depression in the Canyon du Verdon. It is the first scenic highlight when driving on the south side of the Verdon Gorge from west to east. The road winds up the southern slope of the gorge's southern edge, with mostly beautiful views of the Lac de Sainte-Croix.
