Col des Planches | 1411 METER | Martigny Sembrancher
The Col des Planches is a Swiss mountain pass in the municipality of Vollèges in the canton of Valais, connecting Martigny and Sembrancher over the mountain ridge that separates the Rhône Valley from the Dranse Valley. The main road from Martigny to the Great Saint Bernard passes south of the Dranse Valley. A road connects the pass in a northeasterly direction with the Col du Tronc and further on with the Col du Lein.
