Alpine pass number 6 on the Route Napoleon, counting from the Mediterranean coast upwards towards Grenoble. Well paved, not high, and therefore passable all year round. The Route Napoleon is well suited for motorbike tours, for example, even in autumn and spring – when the Alpine passes of the Route des Grandes Alpes are not passable.
