Col de la Colombière | 1618 METER | La Clusaz Cluses

The Col de la Colombière is an alpine pass with an altitude of 1618 metres in the French Alps. The road, which is paved throughout, connects the Arve Valley near Cluses with the Borne Valley near Le-Grand-Bornand and the municipality of La Clusaz. In between, however, lies the Col de Romme, another alpine pass, or more precisely a saddle that is crossed at an altitude of 1300 metres.

The Col de la Colombière is not particularly high, but it already has the characteristics of high mountains. The high valley is rugged, with lots of grassy and rocky landscapes.

The Col de la Clombière is located above the picturesque and historic town of Annecy, on Lake Annecy, to the west.
