Brezovica-Pass | 538 METER | Občice Črnomelj

One of the easternmost Alpine passes is situated in Slovenia, more specifically in the Julian Alps. At 538 metres, it is certainly no giant, but with an elevation difference of over 400 metres compared to the villages in the valley, it certainly qualifies as a pass.
The approach roads lie within the dense woodland of the historic region of Bela Krajina. The landscape is characterised by rolling hills, birch forests and unspoilt nature.

The Brezovica Pass lies on the Partisan Magistrale, a scenic and historic route, and is also close to the panoramic route across the Gorjanci Mountains, which can be wonderfully incorporated into a motorbike tour through south-eastern Slovenia.
Also worth noting is the Vahta Pass (615 metres), situated slightly further east.
