Bözberg-Pass | 569 METER | Frick Brugg
From the west, the route via Frick in the Swiss Jura takes you to Brugg on the eastern side at a maximum gradient of 8%. Traffic is usually moderate, although the main road over the pass is the fastest connection between Basel and Zurich. Until the mountain motorway was opened in 1996, an average of over 12,000 vehicles were counted here every day.
The picture shows the landscape of the area. Here you can see an old, very well-known lime tree – Linn's lime – about 2 kilometres from the alpine pass Bözberg-Pass. The alpine pass itself is located in the village and can only be identified as such by the sign at the pass.
