Alpe di Cava | 2005 METER | Semione Alpe di Cava

The road is mostly asphalted. The asphalt only ends at Biborgh on this pass. It offers a great view of the northern flank of Torent Alto and Piz de Strega. The short gravel road is only partially passable. It is reserved for visitors to the alpine hut and for agricultural traffic. The pastures on the alp are the basis for the special Cava cheese, which is sold on site. The route is challenging with numerous hairpin bends and switchbacks, coupled with short steep sections.
