Ächerli-Pass | 1458 METER | Dallenwil Kerns
The Ächerli Pass connects the Swiss municipalities of Wisserlen in the canton of Obwalden with Dallenwil in the canton of Nidwalden. The asphalted, mostly narrow road has a total length of 20.2 kilometres and an incline of up to 16 percent. The eastern ramp from Dallenwil has some beautiful, sometimes narrow and steeper bends in the lower part. (see picture).
The pass summit is an extensive area and therefore more impressive for the beautiful views. The western ramp is, like the pass summit, rather easy to drive. Again, there are great views, for example of Lake Sarnen, which you can also enjoy while driving.
From the pass road, you can see mountains such as the Pilatus, the Rigi, the Stanserhorn, the Buochserhorn and the summit of the Titlis.
