Klöntal, Klöntaler See – ramp to the Pragelpass

The Klöntaler See is a small lake below the ramp to the Pragelpass in the municipality of Glarus. Of course, there are many lakes in Switzerland, but this one is beautifully embedded in the Klöntal. You cycle a few kilometres directly along the lake, and there are always opportunities to take a short break. There is a campsite on the western edge of the lake and a restaurant with bathing facilities on the eastern edge.

The ramp up to the Pragelpass also starts at the western edge.

Please note: part of the route is extremely narrow, with just one lane.
