The region around Gap offers many little-known and little-travelled Alpine passes. They are certainly not among the highest Alpine passes, but they are exciting and, in some cases, challenging to drive. Enduro fans will also get their money's worth. But what is most impressive is the slightly maritime-inspired landscape.

Over the next few weeks, we will gradually describe the Alpine passes in more detail, create videos, record sights and, of course, post motorcycle tours – with GPS data and illustrated roadmaps.
