The Hengst Pass, 965 metres: the gateway to the north-eastern Alps.

The Hengst Pass lies on the “Austrian Iron Road” from Upper Austria into Styria. Coming from the north, it marks the entrance to the Kalkalpen, a particularly hilly region in the Austrian Alps.
